I've been to Bangkok several times now but I've never really blogged or documented it here. Most of the time was for my previous job as a Buyer and the rest were for stopovers. It was always a blur then. I remember I was in Bangkok with a couple of my friends a long time ago and we did all the touristy things. This time around, Jason and I wanted to just eat good food, go to Chatuchak market and visit the awesome cafes they have in Bangkok city.
Travel {Hua Hin} : A Destination Wedding
This is my first time attending a beach wedding and I gotta say I loved it! The whole ceremony and reception was so, so beautiful. I loved how it was so intimate and personal. The bride and groom even had time to mingle around with their guests. Most weddings, we can only greet the bride and groom after the event is over.
The theme of the wedding was peach and grey. If you noticed, the groomsmen had a starfish as his boutonnière instead of a flower. I thought that was really creative and original. Don't get me started on the beautiful lanterns and ribbons hanging on the big willow looking tree. During the day it was already pretty, but once the sun set and the lights came to live, it was even more beautiful. Le sigh.
I am really glad and happy to be a part of this wedding. Thank you to the gorgeous couple who invited me and the boyfriend to celebrate their special day on such a beautiful island resort.
Looking forward to another close friend's beach wedding at the end of this year! *beams!*
Travel {Hua Hin} : A Little Bit of Everything
All the pictures above pretty much sum up my short trip to Hua Hin for my friend's beach wedding (blog post on it coming up shortly!). It was a surprisingly relaxing trip considering we were attending a wedding. The whole time we chilled by the pool/beach with a cocktail or a refreshing coconut drink in hand. Either that or we were having a massage at the hotel's spa.
I love chilled vacation like this, even though it was short, it was definitely sweet.
