Anniversary Shoot in Tokyo with Travel Shoot

Today marks the 13th year I've been together with my best friend/soul mate/ the love of my life. YAY!! I can't believe we have come so far and we still haven't ran out to things to talk about. Hopefully there will be many more years to come!

Jason and I travel quite a bit and we always have our camera with us. But we hardly have nice pictures of us together, it's always just one of us (mostly me) or we are stuck really close up selfies. So when we were given an opportunity to work with Travelshoot, we thought why not? It would be great for our anniversary this year. Travelshoot is a photography service company that connects travellers with a local photographer in the city they are travelling to, to take some photos for them to take home with. I seriously love this idea and was so excited to work with them.

We were in Tokyo, Japan when we had our photoshoot. Our photographer, Electra, suggested that we should take some shots at Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park, both places we haven't been before. Electra was so helpful that the night before, she sent us a picture of the place that we were supposed to meet up at so that we don't get lost as we have no wi-fi nor a local number to be contacted at. We wanted some cherry blossoms in our pictures but unfortunately when we were there, the cherry blossom season was almost over. Lucky for us, we stumbled upon one when we were walking around Yoyogi Park.

Jason and I are both really awkward when we're in front of the camera. The only other time we had a shoot like this was during our wedding! Also because Jason doesn't like being in front of the camera, he really prefers to be behind the lens. Despite the awkwardness, I'm so happy we now have photos of us together at one of our many travel adventures, thanks to Travel Shoot!

Here are some pictures we took:

During your next travel, why not book a photography service through Travelshoot so you can have beautiful and professionally taken pictures to take home with you? For me, I think that's the best kind of souvenir to bring home.

Stripes & Twist

What I Wore : Leather Jacket - Zara, Top- Melbourne Apparel Co, Shorts - Zara, Shoes - Dotti, Bag - LV Twist

Two things that I'm currently loving in my wardrobe right now - anything stripes and this LV twist bag in red! I've been eyeing on this bag since FOREVER. So happy it's in my hands now. Yay! Apparently it was the last one in Japan and I just had to get it.

I also recently found this local Melbourne brand called M.A.C - Melbourne Apparel Co which sells the BEST basics at affordable prices. Best thing is, it's locally made! I was not sponsored by them, I just happened to stumbled upon them after lunch in Abbotsford. If you're in Melbourne, definitely check the shop out:

Marble Cover Giveaway

I've been looking for a Marble Case (those hard covered ones) for the longest time. Most of the ones in the market are the stick on ones and I don't think those can protect my laptop as much as the hard laptop covers.

The awesome peeps at Gmyle sent me one and I cannot be happier! I absolutely love their marble range.

Because I loved it so much, I've teamed up with Gmyle to giveaway these awesome marble goodies to TWO of you to share with your bestie. You can choose either a laptop or mobile cover for yourself and your bestie.

This is an instagram competition only. You can join the giveaway here.

Mount Wellington, Tasmania

Just wanted to share some pictures of our trip to Mount Wellington,Tasmania in October 2015. It was out first time in Tasmania and unfortunately, we arrived on a public holiday. So most of the shops were closed and we had nothing to do.  We actually went up the mountain 3 times (once during the day, sunrise and sunset!) and every time it was just so magical.  We also witnessed a beautiful proposal during sunrise. Lucky girl!

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Our Engagement Shoot

When it comes to personal events that are happening in my life, especially if it involves my family or my husband, I tend not to announce/blog about it as soon as it happens. The reason is because my husband is a very private person and I want to respect that. It also gives me time to really let whatever happened sink in and appreciate it as it is. :)

However, our engagement photoshoot has been long overdue! I've been wanting to share it here, but at that point (2 years ago now) I was still shy to share such intimate pictures of J and I. As beautiful as those pictures were, thinking about sharing it to the public, made me cringe so much back then. Yikes! I'm not one for PDA hence I was not sure about sharing them. But now, it's all good cause it's been a long time since then so there ya go.

Thank you again Wedding Scoop for featuring us once again!

Seoul - Dior Cafe by Pierre Herme

Seoul - Dior Cafe by Pierre Herme
One of the places that I really wanted to visit when I was in Seoul, earlier this year was the Dior Cafe in Apgujeong (압구정). I mean first of all it's Dior ♥, second, it's by Pierre Herme! They make the meanest Salted Caramel macarons EVER! So I was really excited to try this cafe out.
