Food: {Miss Chu}

That picture of the little girl above in black and white is none other than the rice paper queen in Melbourne, Miss Chu.

Miss Chu is a hip and cool tuck shop style restaurant which serves awesome Vietnamese finger food.
Rice paper rolls and Vietnamese vermicelli salad are amongst the popular selection from their menu.
My friend Cheryl have always wanted to try this place but it wasn't until recently that we've decided to give it a go. Boy, we weren't disappointed at all!

Miss Chu is located at:
297 Exhibition Street, Shop 2
Melbourne VIC

We were at Miss Chu during lunch time and it was so crowded! The line to order for dine in and take away was pretty long. But it was definitely worth the wait. I recommend going to Miss Chu after lunch hours or before, so that you can enjoy your food better as well as their interior decoration.

If you look closely, the fairy lights at the entrance are made out of shuttlecock:

The menu:

Our orders:
Roast duck and banana flower roll (in the box), Pork bun and Tiger Prawn and Green Mango roll.
Love how their fish sauce comes in a small little bottle for your convenience:

The Roast duck and banana flower rice paper roll was really good! I highly recommend this over the Tiger Prawn and green mango roll:

Chilli Prawn Vietnamese Warm Vermicelli Salad:

Traditional Pork Hanoi Deep Fried Spring Rolls.
This was really good as well:

Lemongrass Beef Fillet Vietnamese Warm Vermicelli Salad:
Again, thumbs up for this dish! It was so flavoursome, sweet, tangy and spicy at the same time.

Even though all our dishes were great, THIS was the highlight of Miss Chu for me.
Frozen young coconut slushie with lychee and cucumber:
The perfect thirst quencher for a hot summer day!

Me and my lunch buddy, Cheryl.
Thank you for introducing Miss Chu to us! :)
We love it.
