As much as I hate Jakarta's horrendous traffic, I do like going Jakarta for work. Though we are always rushing but I still find time to appreciate the immaculate interior design of each and every cafe or restaurant in their malls. The food is mediocre but their decoration is always spot on. During this trip, I discovered this good coffee place called DJOURNAL in Grand Indonesia mall. A must visit when you're in the city. Other than that, I also love catching up with

Fashion Valet

's Indonesian brands and designers. Not only that, I can't wait to bring back the goodies to share with our customers on the website!

I've been searching high and low for the perfect white top and I finally found one and out of all the places, I found it at Forever 21. The top is thick enough to not wear an inner underneath. In this hot, hot weather the last thing I want to wear is another layer of clothing! So this top is perfect for the summer like weather here.

I was in Jakarta with colleagues for a work trip and stumbled upon this beautiful spot at Ritz Carlton. When you walk in, you can smell the lemongrass aroma from the nearby Spa and it feels like a mini resort in the middle of the concrete jungle. We managed to squeeze some time during the last day in between meetings to do a photo shoot. It's always nice to accidentally find a beautiful spot to take pictures. Nowadays, I hardly have the time to do this. Hopefully after this busy period, I'll be able to. :)
