New Zealand Part 2

Our second day in New Zealand was spent in Arrowtown and Lake Wanaka. Arrowtown was about 20 minutes drive away from where we were in Queenstown. (We stayed at the Novotel) I don't know why I didn't take a lot of food pictures this trip because the food we had was fantastic! One of the cafes that we went to in Arrowtown was pretty good. It was hidden away in one of those shop lots at the area and its called The Chop Shop Food Merchant. Highly recommended for those of you who wants a decent brunch spot instead of your typical hotel breakfast buffet spread.

Arrowtown looked exactly like the images we googled online, covered with luscious yellow autumn tree and leaves. It was such a beautiful sight!

Next was Lake Wanaka which was about an hour and a half drive away from Arrowtown. I've again stalked so many pictures on Instagram about this awesome Lake and yet it didn't disappoint again. I wish we could have stayed there for a couple of days to really explore the area. Hopefully in the near future, we get to go back and do just that.

At Lake Wanaka, we hunted down the very popular 'Wanaka Tree'. It was so serene at that lake with the Wanaka Tree in view. All I wanted to do was just lay down and read a good book. But we had limited time and you don't want to waste your time doing that in New Zealand if you only have a few days there! One of my most memorable events in New Zealand was our 4 wheel drive safari at a private farm ( or private station as they would call it) and the view we saw was beyond amazing. His creation is truly a work of art and I am so thankful and blessed to be able to experience this.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.
